If you've experienced family violence and need urgent protection, we can talk with you about whether you meet the requirements for a Protection Order and whether an urgent application is appropriate. If it is, we can apply without notice, which means the other person isn't told before a judge considers the application. Urgent applications are usually considered within 24-48 hours.
